To life...

It has been a very long time since I last got on to chat. In the time that has passed I have moved out, continued my job and gotten school going. I have found tons of new songs to listen to and whole cartons of new flavors of ice cream. I have changed my major from math education to elementary education and am enjoying every bit of the process. My teaching friends have been posting about their schools and their new classrooms, and seeing these have made me that much more excited for my future.

I am currently supposed to be working on history but have taken a small and quiet break to enjoy blogging and good music for a few brief moments. I am more independent now then I ever have been and that's been exciting and scary. I try not to talk about it too much but I want to open up a little and say that I deal a lot with anxiety. I get anxious very easily and anything I have to keep me busy and focused on the here and now I grasp on to like a swimmer who needs air. It is not easy and I want to use this blog to help work through that anxiety, that emotion.

So today I am starting small, I am going to pick up my Jesus Calling that a friend gave to me and start reading it again. Pick up my rosary and pray, read some Esther and Job again (my favorites). Today I am small, I am a student, I am strong, and I am loved. And that's all that I need to know today. I don't need to try my hardest to be everything that there is to be in this world, I just need to be me. Little Arwen, working on her History, on this last day of August, and let God do the rest. Cheers and Peace friends!

Perspective

Here's to the New Year, I am a year older, I have a late birthday so the new year has that extra punch added to it. I'm different, definitely not the same young woman who started off last year. I've changed and I can't wait for what this year has in store. I have savings to save, school to get back to, projects to finish.

This year I am a finisher, and it is going to be fantastic. I'm starting off with a job, with a plan and this plan I'm going to finish, with the grace of God.

I hope everyone had a wonderful New Year, ringing it in surrounded by family and friends. As the year moves forward know that each and everyone of you are always in my prayers.

ciao 4 now,

Arwen

P.S. I got the bowtie finished, pics soon to follow. :)
